The story

Where the songs come from

I grew up in a broken home and spent thirty years struggling through life. I knew what it was to carry things you can't put down on your own.

2021

August 2021.
Everything changed.

In August 2021, Jesus showed up and changed my entire world. I started singing and writing not long after, and every song since has been born out of that turning point.

The music is honest about the struggle, because the struggle is real. But it always points somewhere further. That hope is what I want people to hear.

The meaning behind the single

Home (Where I Want To Be)

Watching them carry hope of an eternal home, and choose to put others first in their final days.

"Home" was written in a season when we lost a few close family members and family friends. Seeing how they faced the end, holding onto hope and still caring for everyone around them, was inspiring.

The song speaks to the heavenly hope we have, while we're still living through the struggle here on earth.
